Thomas J. Kalup
Mr. Kalup is a passionate, results-driven executive with over 30 years of leadership experience in the utility industry and power generation sectors. He has a proven track record across numerous business disciplines, including commercial operations and commodity risk management, power plant dispatch and operations, fuel procurement, structured transaction execution and deal origination, strategic planning, energy market forecasting, transmission system operations, corporate finance and investor relations, and power plant asset acquisitions and sales. Mr. Kalup successfully managed a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of generation assets and accompanying commodity contracts, launched profitable wholesale and retail power marketing businesses, and helped turn around a severely distressed commodity trading business segment to profitability.
He earned a bachelors degree in electrical engineering from The Johns Hopkins University (1987) in Baltimore, MD and an MBA with distinction from Carnegie Mellon University (1991) in Pittsburgh, PA.
